Henschke Henry's Seven Shiraz Grenache Mataro 750mL
Deep ruby with crimson hues. Fragrant, floral aromas of violets over spicy blackberry, raspberry and blueberry, with underlying spice notes of anise and black pepper, with sage, bay leaf and cedar. The palate is spicy, juicy and concentrated with ripe blueberry and freshly cut strawberry and plum creating layers of flavor with bright acidity and complexity from long, fine, savoury tannins.
Critics Rating: ANGUS HUGHSON WINEPILOT.COM 2019 Vintage "...radiates Barossa personality and is chock-a-block full of mouth filling, generous and supple fruit for drinking right now. Barossa shiraz, grenache and mataro have been blended with a splash of viognier to give this wine instant appeal and good complexity. Open knit, bright and jubey Barossa blackberry and baked earthy fruits are lifted by nice touches of raspberry, sage and white pepper. It’s also fleshy and vibrant in the mouth – again layers of dark berry fruit with subtle oak are supported by soft tannins to give great drinkability. Enjoy it with roast beef." 92 Points
