When Bracegirdle’s House of Fine Chocolate first opened the doors to its flagship Jetty Road store back in 2005, it was one of Adelaide’s first and only dessert bars. Sue’s background was in retail and she ran a small chocolate and confectionery shop in Blackwood. While Garry, a former high school teacher, brought his passion for teaching and training staff to the business.

Bracegirdle’s began to thrive and two years later the second café at Toorak Gardens opened. This was followed by McLaren Vale, then Marion, Cross Roads and Blackwood. They invested time, energy, and money into ensuring the business’s chocolatiers were as highly skilled as possible.

This training certainly paid off, with the company now boasting the enviable title of ‘Australia’s most awarded chocolate company’.

Bracegirdle’s highly talented on-site chocolatiers are renowned for their excellent craftsmanship.

With an impressive list of awards including ‘champion chocolate’ and ‘most successful exhibitor’ at Royal Shows around Australia, the business is now the most awarded in its field in Australia.

Seen at the best corporate events, Bracegirdle’s superb chocolates have been enjoyed by the rich and famous – even royalty!

Prince William and Kate indulged in chocolates at Longitude 131 in Yulara, while a pair of chocolate stilettos were a perfect fit for Lady Gaga. Opening night treats have been gifted to the cast of Cirque du Soleil, while guests of 500 Rymill House enjoy the finest chocolates Australia has to offer each year during Superloop Adelaide 500.
